Art vs. Technology

Passion or Commitment.
Which would you pick? or do you need to pick?

I love art… but I’ve gotta be on top of my game at work.
Confused? I might be, or used to be… or kinda sort of? :-P

Lets put this straight. We live in a very defined reality, the air you breathe, the food you eat, the people who face, the days you think you are the only person in the worse situation.

And for me, it’s the thrill of going to work each day, discovering how much you lack beyond others.

In a way, much like everyone who have to face choices in life, I owe mine to two paths that I should never give up either one. Both are needed and they are part of me.

Ok, lets put it plain! and straight to my story :)
I went to the bookshop today in Banjara Hills. The Landmark is the name of the store, got lots of stuff, considering Hyderabad that has less stuff compared to bigger cities in India. I got myself 2 books.

Avatar Art Book! WoooHooo!!!

aaandddddd …

Perl Hacks

Perl Hacks. Yeah Lame?

The second book subtitle reads like this…

Perl Hacks - Tips & Tools For Programming, Debugging and SURVIVING!

Yup! :)

I’d need this book if I would to stop bugging everyone at work everyday to get a problem fixed! Seriously! (ok, I sound like I’m mad at myself, but no). As much as I love the industry I’m working for, with burning fire and high expectations, I realized in life, you gotta learn to balance it no matter how close your job is to your very interest.

I always lose out when I expect too much from something that would happen, so right now I’m pretty blunt most of the time. In the meanwhile, I would smile and tell myself that it’s not too bad after all, I still enjoy what I love and adore. Art itself isn’t something to be all stressed out or hyped out about. Being so subjective, I rather appreciate and observe it :)

And where I work in, I’ve gotta catch up, and it’s always a brand new day learning new stuff every time something hits you when you less expect. :)

for now… I shall balance both equally, like how much you may love your other self, you still gotta learn to love yourself first. Or as much as you think you are well off, you are still far from realizing that dream. It feels like I’m broadcasting a message :) , and in a way, yeah.

I’m asking everyone to reach out… No matter how far or how vague your vision and path may seem, the moment you stop for a second and feel the breeze gently brushing through your face, you’ll realize that this journey is what you will remember for years to come. :-)

This journey, thought it’s been a while, for me everyday it’s just begun!

More pics of the 2 books :)

So.. Art versus Technology?

In a way, they are both alike and they need each other :)
